Custom painting of your dog, cat or other pet(s).

Your custom painting will be painted on 290 grams white smooth watercolor paper, based on photo's of your pet. Detailed information about the procedure can be found below.

The photo's show several examples of pet paintings that I created in commission.

Sizes and prices

Please pick the size you would like for the painting in the menu. A3 is the largest size available for an original painting. A high quality reproduction of the original painting can be printed in larger sizes on fine art paper or stretched canvas.

The prices mentioned above are for painting one pet. Would you like to have more than one pet in one painting, please contact me.

The average time for the creation of a custom painting is 2 weeks. If there is a deadline by which you need the painting to be finished, please contact me to make sure that this can be met.

Before I start on a painting I will personally contact you to make sure
that the result will meet your wishes.

After we have agreed on what photo to use for the painting and the deadline for the painting, I will keep you updated during the creation process. This way we can still make adjustments and I can make sure you are happy with the final result!

After you have placed the order please send me some photo's of your pet via email (info@michelledujardin.nl). I prefer to have multiple clear photo's if possible, which show your pet from different angles. 3-5 Photo's are usually sufficient.

Please pay attention to the quality of the photo's. The best photo's are taken in daylight and show the true colors of the fur and eyes.

About the painting style

My paintings focus on the animal and show minimal or no background information, resulting in mostly white backgrounds. In this example of my dog Bodhi running in the sea, you see how I created the illusion of splashing water in a minimalist way.

I aim to create a personal painting for you that meets your wishes and reflects the energy and personality of your pet. That's why I always take time to get to know you and your animal a bit before I start to paint.
